Ampelographic profile
A vine with large black bunches, very productive, recorded in Tortosa, Vinaròs, Gandesa, Traiguera and other places. It has been described with large, round berries, rough skin, late ripening and low-strength wine. The name comes from the comarca of Requena; in Gandesa a distinction is made between the requeno boval (the coarser one) and the requeno fi.
