A white or pink grape with large berries and thin skin, documented since 1797 in the Penedès, Àger, Sarral, Calonge de Mar and other places. Used for the table and for hanging (raisins), especially when scalded. The name combines 'pansa' (raisin grape) and the demonym pointing to its Valencian origin.
