Negramoll

Found on all the Canary Islands. It matches Andalusia's Mollar Cano and is known as Negra Mole in Portugal. Large bunch, low-yielding, with better health than Listán Negro. Late ripening (mid-September at Valle de Guerra) and high acidity: wines suitable both for young drinking and for ageing, with more ageing potential than Listán Negro; colour intensity varies greatly between clones and vintages. It is a parent, with Listán Blanco, of Listán Negro.
