Marmajuelo

Also called Bermejuela or Vermejuelo. Not widely planted on any of the islands; no synonyms are known outside the Canary Islands. Medium bunch (about 223 g) of yellow-green berries; in high areas it suffers a serious problem of coulure. Medium ripening (late August at Valle de Guerra, into September in cooler climates). Interesting wines that combine high acidity and high alcohol. It is a parent of Malvasía Volcánica, with Malvasía Aromática.
