Malvasía Volcánica

Grown on all the islands, with most importance in Lanzarote and less in La Palma. It is the result of a cross between Malvasía Aromática and Marmajuelo. Large bunch (about 381 g), early ripening (mid-August at Valle de Guerra), high acidity and high alcohol; clean, fresh wines with notes similar to but fainter than those of Malvasía Aromática, suited both to young and to liqueur wines.
