Listán Blanco de Canarias

Grown on practically all the islands thanks to its easy adaptation, in both low and high areas, with importance in the high areas of La Palma. It is the Palomino Fino grown mostly in Andalusia; it has no similarity to Listán Negro. Large bunch (about 421 g), little sensitive to disease. Clean, fresh, neutral wines of low aromatic intensity; it is widely used for its hardiness and is usually blended; in high areas it gives the best-quality wines. It is a parent of Listán Negro (with Negramoll), and of Albillo Criollo and Forastera Blanca (with Verdello).
