Jaumet ^[[Favà]]

An early table grape, ripening around Sant Jaume's day (25 July). Documented in 1866 in the Roussillon and recorded in Gandesa, Vilajuïga, Llançà, Roses and Mallorca (jaumillo). According to the descriptions, it has a small, sweet berry, white or reddish, and can also give a high-strength wine. The name is explained by Joan Veny through its ripening tied to a feast day.
