Godella ^[[Favà]]

A grape recorded in Montesa (la Costera) in the Atles Lingüístic del Domini Català. The author attributes the name, probably, to a loan from the Portuguese godelho, a variant of the older agudelho (documented in 1531 and derived from agudo, 'pointed', for the berry's shape), and rules out any relation to the Valencian towns of Godella and Godelleta.
