Forastera Blanca

Found throughout the Canary Islands, with its main area on La Gomera, where it is known as Forastera Gomera. SNP analyses suggest it is probably a cross between Listán Blanco de Canarias and Verdello. Medium, very compact bunch (risk of rot), medium ripening. Wines with a characteristic aroma, golden tones and interesting acidity, with a vocation for ageing; on La Gomera its parameters improve compared with Valle de Guerra.
