Granite and highlands
Granite combines two landscapes: the granite of the Empordà and the high-altitude vineyards of Utiel-Requena. Celler de Madremanya, in Les Gavarres (Baix Empordà), is the only winery in our whole catalogue with documented granite soil — its red, the Sang dels Déus, is included.
“Schist and granite soils, influenced by the tramontana wind” — that is how they describe their own land. Under that landscape is born the Sang dels Déus, a lively, direct red.
Two wines from Tren de Vida complete it — Sete Castro makes wine from the grapes of certified organic growers, between 300 and 900 metres above sea level: Alfa and Movida, with spontaneous fermentation, zero additives and zero added sulphites.
