Aragon: the Maestrazgo of Teruel
At Terroir Radical we work with Casa Masas, in Mirambel, in the Maestrazgo of Teruel: a small winery in the courtyard of the family home, with its own vineyards farmed organically.

Mirambel and the Maestrazgo of Teruel
Mirambel stands at the end of the main street of a marvellous medieval ensemble in the Maestrazgo of Teruel. The landscape of the Maestrazgo is the identity of this land, where for centuries people have withstood the passage of time, largely defining the character and way of life of its inhabitants.
Casa Masas was founded in the early twentieth century as the village inn and café. The fourth generation restored the old shop and canteen in 2017 and, in 2019, built a small winery in the courtyard of the same house to make natural wines from their own vineyards.
The village of Mirambel was declared a conjunto histórico-artístico (historic-artistic site) by Royal Decree 1749/1980 of 18 July (BOE of 4 September 1980).
