Albillo Criollo

Scarcely grown, mainly in Tenerife, La Palma and Gran Canaria; it does not match any of the mainland Albillos or the Albillo del Monte Lentiscal (Gran Canaria). SNP analyses show it is a cross between Listán Blanco de Canarias and Verdello. Medium bunch (about 225 g), medium ripening; fresh wines with aromatic nuances, suited to young drinking; in northern La Palma it gives good-quality wines.
