Palop

Documented in the Valencian Country since 1569, it exists in white, black and pink variants. Coarse-grained grape with firm skin, traditionally used for both table and wine. The Conselleria lists it as a synonym of Valencí Blanc, and García Muñoz's (2011) SSR analysis confirms the Palop-Beba identity. We keep it as a separate entry as a local Valencian designation still awaiting full confirmation across all accessions.
